Valentines Wishlist

'Faces pressed against steamed windows, the scent of arousal fresh on the sheets,

Falling petals on morning dew, the crisp air awakens me,

Tinkling laughter, half closed eyes in ecstacy,

Walking through the gardens hand in hand, face the rising sun together,

Jump into obvlivion as love takes over, dive into the tranquil waters,

Entwined lovers wrapped in each others arms, living without names'

Love is in the air, the tantalisingly delicious aroma that surrounds Valentines day engulfs me as I dream of the luxe products that could be mine this Sunday the 14th; from dreamy lace tulles to compact cameras inspired by the month of lurve join me as I curate a list designed to befit a queen of taste. No matter whether you are single, taken or so 'over' Valentines day there is a gift for everyone. There is the assumption that just because you are 'single' you can't celebrate Valentines day which is an ethos I wholly disagree with. Valentines day may be a commercial celebration but it is also about loving yourself and embracing who you are as a person. So that is exactly what I am going to this Valentines, treat myself to well earned rewards and celebrate being me. Will you join me in praticing self-love and creating your very own wishlist?

My Technology Wishlist

1. Nothing captures your special Valentines moments more than a camera with zoom technology. Having recently brought a professional DSLR camera I am seeking a second camera that is compact, has good quality resolution and is easy to use and this Panasonic Lumix Point and Shoot Digital Camera DMC-LX100 ticks all the right boxes. Like a panther its sleek and innovative design exudes the subtle sensuality needed for Valentines day and its 3 x optical zoom will capture detail shots even in low light conditions. With a 12.8 megapixel camera it may not have as high a resolution as my DSLR but its compact design means that I can take it out to events and still feel confident that there will be high quality pictures whereas a professional camera is bulky and expensive. Another impressive attribute of the camera is its ability to capture videos in 4K meaning that it will fill more frames and stabilizes the hand-held camera to produce good quality shots.

What I Would Wear

Sleek and streamlined like the Lumix 100, the plush faux fur shrug and lace-up boots radiates instant cool while the tinted sunglasses lens would be intensified using Lumix's 4K technology.

2. Frends Taylor Rose Gold Headphones

I have been desperately trying to find a pair of rose gold headphones that don't break the bank and it has been a tultomous journey so far. Meet Frends Taylor Rose Gold Headphones which at £150 is way out of my price range but until I find a good quality dupe the sumptous headphones will remain at the top of my technology wishlist. The delicious combination of rose gold and leather makes its hefty price tag a mere concern while the interchangeable cap system can be adjusted to suit your mood or outfit. These are not just any old headphones either, with a three button in-line microphone the bass is boosted to improve the quality of your music and also allows you to switch between listening to music and taking calls with your nearest and dearest. Dresses

1. Drawing inspiration from the flirtatious 50's, the bardot sweetheart neckline makes it the perfect dress for Valentines day while the delicious contrast between blue and baby pink feeds into Pantones colours of the year 'Rose Quartz' and Serenity. The midi makes it a classy Valentines option and the floral theme continues to remain a strong and dominant print on the S/S 16 catwalks list of trends. It has been a while since I have brought an elegant floral dress and Chi- Chi never fails to deliver when it comes to dresses for all ocassions. In fact I might have got a bit excited and put three dresses [see below] in my basket!

2. Chi-Chi's Kathryn dress is the eptomine of vintage luxe, with its satin bodice and netted underlay while the delicate lavender print casades over a pleated skirt. The pleated skirt is reminiscient of 40's midi's whose symbolism lay in its ability to transcend all social ocassions including weddings, cocktail parties and photoshoots while the digital print updates it and keeps it from looking too traditional in modern culture.

3. What I love about midi dresses is how effortless they look, without the need for layering or many accessories which is great on days that don't go to plan. Chi-Chi's Nicole dress has a padded bodice to accentuate the natural curve of your chest-Lord knows I need help in that department- while the sheer printed overlay gives the 50's dress a modern aesthetic. The off-colour red makes it an ideal Valentines dress and at 54.99 it might be more high end but the quality of the material will make it a timeless purchase.
