New Chic Wishlist
I have been blogging six months now and am so incredibly proud of what I have acheived and the people and companies that I have met along the way have helped me become a better blogger. I have a strong ethos to promote brands that are as of yet under the radar and deliver 'fast quality fashion' at reasonable prices so when New Chic contacted me to review their products I was more than happy to write a detailed, honest review in exchange for lust-worthy products. I was wary at first. A similar company who I reviewed last year [ Read HERE] sent items that barely resembled the products in the photos and were 'fast' 'cheap' but not high quality. To be fair I understand it was cheap but shouldn't I be able to expect good quality items regardless of price? I decided to give New Chic a chance as the manager was 'kind' and attentive helping me through the process of choosing the clothes I wished to review in exchange for a $50 gift card ( which works out at £36). But prior to receiving the products I thought it would be a good idea to sample some of the products here to showcase items that I wish to purchase, especially as I might be gifted on a regular basis. New Chic is the epitomy of quality customer service with a specific emphasis on catering and accomodating to the needs of their clients and special discounts, bonuses and other additional extra benefits available when you shop with them. With benefits galore and a series of cheap looks to keep your wardrobe on trend why wouldn't you shop with New Chic?
1. Crane Print V Neck Trench Coat
Made from 100 % cotton the boxy three quarter trench coat is the ideal transitional cover up piece for this upcoming spring. Light enough to feel light and wearable but thick enough to combat the UK's tulmotous weather the blush and grey crane print trench at £19 is a steal and a half. The blush 'Pantone' accents infused with the 'dusty' grey hue makes for a mystical dream that transports you to another realm, where cartoonish creations intermingle with the shadows of our multiple realities. Drawing upon a light-hearted version of Alexander McQueen's A/W 16's Gothic v neck leather trenches, the crane print is whimsical, delicately feminine and best worn with complimentary blush tones. The pussybow two tone piped off the shoulder blouse in a neutral ceramic pink hue is layered over an egg blue midi tulle skirt to give off-beat proportion to the crane trench's boxy silhouette whilst the Karl Lagerfield 'mini' kitsch purse ties into the dream realm of the crane trench coat. Add a pop of candy to the look with sugar sweet pumps or alternatively tap into the perspex trend by adding patent perspex pink boots.
Out of all the items showcased the trench coat is at the top of my wishlist but has unfortunately sold out of my size and is only available in a size 10 ( I am a six to 8) so I have to make the difficult decision as to whether I should request the item and it not fit me or not order it and it sell out completely. If I was to request the trench I would pair it with a slate grey trouser co-ord set, baby pink perspex boots and a clashing printed bag with tonal blush hues.

2. Printed High Waist Casual Skirt
Fun, flirty and spring appropriate this light hearted mismatched look draws upon baby and candy pink tones to keep the look fresh and far from bland. The black and grey digital mini skirt with ruched waistband detail is monochromatic and offers a more adult alternative to the candy pink sleeveless crop top and accessories. The baby pink drawstring rucksack offers a spring alternative to last seasons 'metallic' trend and in my opinion is far more wearable and easier to incorporate than metallics. Pair with an ornamental statement necklace, candy pumps and a sugar sweet smile.

3. Floral V-Neck Playsuit
Canary and custard yellow was huge news on the Spring/Summer 16 LFW catwalks and it is easy to see why. Light, fun and casual, the floral tie-up playsuit's ruched, slouchy yet tailored finish offers the best of both worlds; wear it tailored for parties by adding a pair of knee high lace-up heels while a clashing cobalt blue clutch will add interest to the sunshine yellow aesthetic. Pairing blue and yellow is no easy feat and for the less brave hearted - like myself- create a casual look that would not look out of place at the seaside or summertime strolls. Simply add a pair of My Girl Quay sunglasses with amber lens, a copy of your favourite magazine and banana yellow accessories to make the floral playsuit pop.

4. Diver a richer version of teal was a popular colour for 2016 catwalks and it is easy to see why. Rich jewel tones make looks infinitely more expensive and this £30 suede skirt is a steal considering how high quality the material is. Pairing the 'kiss print' smart shirt with the teal skirt and layering the kiss blouse on top of the skirt creates a smart luxe look without the designer price tag. It might be catwalk approved but mixing shades of greens; forest, teal, diver and ink is far more accessible to incorporate to your everyday look than you may think. Don't be afraid to think outside the box and get your colour expert face on.

5. Khaki Duster Coat
Regular readers of my blog will know that I am a huge fan of colour-blocking and one of my most famous signature looks is mixing burgundy with khaki because the two autumn colours work together so well. Incorporating different textures like leather and suede adds edge while the vintage tinted green sunglasses pulls the colour-blocked look together. The fusion of different textures and accents of bourdeux, magenta and rust make an excellent colour combination while the leather bralet will create a unique layered look underneath the duster coat that can be informal and formal. The ideal cover up the khaki duster mimics Kylie's sell out baby blue duster from two years ago and has been revamped in A/W 16's most covetable hue 'khaki'.

6. Striped Dress
Monochrome has been popular since the rise of 60's mod culture who saw the inversion of colour as a rebellion against colour conformity and for the first time black shook off its negative connotations that stated it was merely a funeral hue. Today monochrome is a large part of the minimalist movement and remains an ever popular look for red carpet events, balls, informal wear and casual luxe. This tulle striped dress fits somewhere in the middle; the top half is kept casual with a striped circle neck while the tulle smartens up the look a little more. Keep the look monochromatic by pairing monochrome accessories like Valentino rockstuds and a smart tux waistcoat blazer with satin finish.
